"You WILL know the tunes! I always throw a tonnes of remixes into my sets…so expect a load of those too. My aim is for us to all go out, sing together, rave together and have a wicked night.
"It’s your show! You’ll get to submit the dance tunes you want me to play, ahead of each show, via my instagram @charliehedgesdj so look out for how to get involved and I’ll play as many of them as I can during my set
"Use your phones if you want to, don’t if you don’t want to. Just come along and do whatever makes you happy and ensures you to have the best night!
"Everyone’s welcome - Bring friends, family, your kids (where you can/where the venue supports)
"There will be no such thing as a ‘Warm up DJ’ for these gigs. Whether a DJ is playing before or after me or anyone else, it’ll be their set, as much as it is mine, no rules or restrictions on the music they can play. I want everyone to shine and have a good set, as inevitably that means good music all night from the minute the venue opens. There’s enough music to go round 🤍

Charlie Hedges - The host of the UK’s biggest Dance Show BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems every Saturday 4-7pm. Bringing her passion and enthusiasm for dance music, Charlie hosts 2 hours of Classic Anthems and an hour of Today’s Anthems each week.
As well as Dance Anthems she is also the host of BBC Radio 1’s Iconic Live Lounge alongside Rickie and Melvin, a show she has so much love, respect, and enthusiasm for, which celebrates great artists playing their new and covers on Radio 1, a huge honour!!
Charlie by night has toured the globe playing some of the biggest dance events and festivals including a residency with Carl Cox in Ibiza, Ushuaia, Amnesia, Pacha Ibiza, Isle of Wight Fest and a residency in Mallorca, playing alongside Craig David, Duke Dumont, Steve Aoki, Axwell and Ingrosso.
This year Charlie’s schedule included bringing her Dance Anthems sound to her sets, including playing to a full capacity arena at Board masters Festival, 45,000 people at Summerdaze Festival in Malta, Club 528 in Ibiza for Radio 1’s Dance Weekend, Women’s FA Cup Final at Wembley and mainstage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Dundee.
Charlie has also released various house tracks on labels such as Spinnin Records, Universal Music, Defected Records and a remix of Ella Henderson & Tom Grennan’s – ‘Let’s Go Home Together’ released on Atlantic Records, also remixes for Rudimental and Clean Bandit under her belt.
Her latest single ‘Silence Your Mind’ ft Frederick Ferrier was playlisted on Radio 1 Dance and had support on Radio 1 from Danny Howard and daytime shows on R1 also.
Charlie is also venturing into the TV world and with her infectious personality, live in the moment mentality, incredible interview and all-round presenter skills, we know she can hold her own and finally put a face to the voice we have listened to on the radio for years.
