In 2019, Blu was announced as one of the ten competitors on the first UK-based season of popular drag reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race. Competing alongside some of the UK’s biggest names in drag, she continually impressed judges RuPaul Charles, Michelle Visage, Graham Norton and Alan Carr, and earned a coveted Ru Peter Badge. She went on to place in the Top 5 in the show, and even reached the Top 10 of the UK singles charts with the song Break Up (Bye Bye) alongside fellow queens Baga Chipz and Davina De Campo. Today the show has brought Blu to an even larger audience across the globe, and she now has over 300,000 followers on social media. She is a sought-after performer and host at events and functions, and has made appearances at London’s G-A-Y, on the RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Tour, and at RuPaul’s DragCon in New York City.
